Biography

Dr. McLoddy Kadyamusuma joined ISU in the Summer of 2022. He earned his PhD from Potsdam University in Germany and a Post Doc from Witwatersrand University in South Africa. Prior to joining ISU, Dr. Kadyamusuma was a Departmental Chair and Program Director at SUNY Fredonia. His research focuses on how Stroke, TBI & Dementia affect the processing of Language in Neurologically Impaired Individuals.

Teaching Interests & Areas

Dr. Kadyamusuma teaches courses in Phonetics, Introduction to Language, Neurolinguistics, Multicultural Issues, Speech Language Pathology and Neurogenic Language Disorders

Research Interests & Areas

Dr. Kadyamusuma's primary interests are in Multilingualism, Language Processing in healthy and neurologically impaired speakers, Language Assessment and Aphasia . He is also interested in the processing of Prosody in native and non-native speakers
