National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA)

NSSLHA (National Student Speech Language Hearing Association) is a pre-professional membership association that is open to both graduate and undergraduate students who are interested in the study of communication sciences and disorders.

Student Academy of Audiology (SAA)

The SAA is the national student organization of the American Academy of Audiology. The graduate students in the audiology doctoral program are encouraged to join this organization, which serves to provide the students with a collective voice and enhance the rights, interests and welfare of those pursuing careers in audiology.

Student Advisory Board (SAB)

The primary purposes of the CSD Student Advisory Board (SAB) shall be:

To serve as a liaison between students and department faculty members/supervisors To facilitate appropriate communication between all CSD student RSO's Furthermore, the SAB will assist with the establishment of department policies relating to these purposes.

Study Abroad and Travel Experiences

The CSD department strives to offer a short-term international experience at least once per year as an additional opportunity for self-discovery, personal growth, and learning. Through travel, students can learn about themselves, other cultures, and clinical practices in a different cultural setting.
