Homecoming

During Homecoming the department has both a tailgate cookout and we have a float in the parade. We are proud winners of the 2009 Homecoming
Float Contest!

Spring Banquet

Held in April or May, this banquet is always a lot of fun.  Professor of the year is announced and great prizes
awarded in the yearly raffle.

Department Picnic

This is held in September.

Family Day

This event is held every October as part of the University's Family Weekend. Be sure to invite your family early so they can mark it on their calendars. A variety of presentations will be shared by members of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Enjoy refreshments and maybe even get your hearing screened. This is a good chance for students and their families to meet other students and members of the department, take a tour of the clinic and classroom, learn about the fields of speech pathology and audiology, and ask questions.

Faculty/Staff Retreat

This is held in August each year to prepare for the upcoming academic year. It is a time to go over strategies and make sure that we are offering the best options for our students.

Department Fun Day

Every day is a fun day in CSD! We especially look forward to the department fun day in August. This is a time for faculty, staff, and students to get together and celebrate the start of a new year.

Holiday Party

This is held in December and is a lovely celebration at the end of the fall semester and before the holiday break.
